It wasn’t till I got this month’s lovely Birchbox with a special sample of Pop Eyeshadow that I remembered how great their eye colours are. The Birchbox contained Pop trio that’s called Champagne Mocha. It’s their version of the nude smoky eye and here’s what I love about it: The colours are always spot on.
There is the perfect pale blush champagne highlighter with just enough sparkle. The beigey peach shadow shade is perfect. It looks pale and innocent but its coverage is deceptively clever and long lasting. The mocha shade for the inner eye is dark enough to be smoky, light enough to be subtle. I’ve used Pop shadows before and I have always found them to have extraordinary staying power and get the pigmentation just right. And they are very well priced. You can get a 10 colour set with brush for around £15 and their mascara in the brilliantly named Lashy Flashy is completely great.
