I discovered this lovely indy tea brand when I opened a box of mixed Bird & Blend teas that were delivered to France for my Wellness Festival In Your Element that was due to take place in April. Sadly I had to cancel it but happily that did mean I got to try some of the teas they generously supplied for my goody bags. I have been telling everyone how delicious the Mermaid Matcha is and absolutely love the herbal and fruit teas I have tried too.

Bird & Blend has expanded their online shop to include everyday provisions, as well as its range of bespoke, signature teas.
Bird & Blend launched in 2013, after co-founder Krisi Smith decided to put her years of working in the tea industry to better use. Krisi teamed up with her partner, Mike, to create a range of innovative, top-quality teas, to help reimagine the Great British brew. Now this independent, award-winning, happiness spreading company is on a mission to see Brits through this uncertain time.

As well as offering its entire tea range for worldwide delivery, the company’s newly launched online pantry is also stocked up with household goods from an array of renowned, independent brands from across the UK. Bird & Blend will be offering worldwide shipping on all pantry products, so every customer can get store cupboard items delivered to their doors in a matter of days.
In The Pantry, you will find everything from Rude Health’s Organic Coconut Drink (£3.25) to Gentlemen Baristas Racer Whole Bean Coffee (£8.00), so you need not worry about getting your daily caffeine fix.
Vegans and health conscious buyers can stock up on tasty snacks to accompany their favourite brew, including Montezuma’s Organic 74% Dark Chocolate (£1.10), and Almond Biscotti Tea Biscuits from Rhythm 108 (£3.20), which are free from dairy, gluten, and refined sugar. And if you’re looking for something extra special, handmade artisan chocolatier Cocoloco have infused Bird & Blend tea with their Chocolate to create an Earl Grey Milk Chocolate Bar (£5) and Matcha White Chocolate Bar (£5.90).
Gin lovers can order a bottle of Bloody Bens Signature Gin (£38), an award-winning product that’s hand crafted in small batches, while Suma’s Eco-leaf Multi Surface Cleaner (£2.75), an eco-friendly, ready-to-use multi cleaner, will help every household keep germs at bay.
Customers can also keep their cupboards stocked up with their favourite teas, including immune-boosting herbals and classic builder’s brews. Simply pick your daily cuppa, an artisan coffee or Matcha, a plant-based milk and a sweet treat of your choice and your tailor-made bundle will be ready to go.
You can also purchase the brand’s innovative Easter blends, including Cream Egg (from £5.55), Simnel Cake (from £5.90), and Hot Cross Bun (from £5.90), cleverly crafted to beautifully replicate the flavours, smells and nostalgia of some of Spring’s most celebrated treats.
Founder Krisi Smith commented on the launch of The Pantry: “We know it’s been challenging to get your hands on your basic pantry supplies, so we’ve opened up our online store to include cupboard basics from our fellow, favourite independent brands. From drinks and snacks to household and store cupboard essentials, we’ve got you covered.”
