Bobbi Brown Skincare. Not something I had used much of – or even heard a huge amount about if I’m honest! I think for makeup brands that do skin care as well – the focus is so strong on the makeup that the skincare products are usually a little shadowed.
I, like most, know Bobbi Brown for just her makeup. So I got the chance to try out her skin care range too – and I must say it is lovely.
It actually came about originally as I was looking to buy a little something for Father’s Day this year – and the Bobbi Brown skin care range was suggested to me as great gifts for men as well as women.
I share a bathroom with my boyfriend, who doesn’t bother too much with skin care – and I think countless times of me trying to get him to wear floral/generally womanly-scented/looking products it might not have been as enjoyable for him.. maybe. We live together, so this was great skin care that we could both use; morning and night.
Even the packaging looks good in a men’s bathroom – and hear me out, as I think that’s important too! The design is very stylish, modern, and there’s definitely something so much nicer about glass pots – so anyone would be happy to have these products sitting on display on their bathroom cabinet.

HYDRATING GEL CREAM, 50ml

This lovely pot of refreshing water-based emulsion is perfect for those with normal to oily/combination skin. It delivers a burst of hydration, and a light moisturisation, leaving skin feeling refreshed. It is lovely for men’s skin as it doesn’t leave that shiny residue behind, and sinks into the skin fast. That also works perfectly for pre-makeup application for a seamless finish.
It contains Tropical Grass Extract to hydrate instantly and increases the skin’s natural ability to hold on to moisture. Vitamin E provides anti-oxidant protection against environmental damage.
This cream is great for both morning and night, and a little goes a long way – and again, for those men who don’t like to faff about with a million different products (like us women sometimes do) and just like to have one, all round product to use; this is perfect.
HYDRATING EYE CREAM, 15ml

This lovely little pot has the most gentle and light-as-anything eye cream inside, to revive the delicate skin around your eyes. It is hydrating and plumps away any fine dry lines for a firmer, smoother look. It sinks in fast, and you need the smallest amount, so it’ll last you for a long time.
Perfect for flawless concealer application, too.
It contains Avocado Oil and Jojoba Oil for intense hydration and softness to the skin. As well as antioxidants, supplements, and Vitamin A, it contains humectants which draw moisture to the skin, for long-lasting hydration after application.
