Is our beloved actress shifting away from the film industry and into fashion?

It has been announced that Cameron Diaz, star of Charlie’s Angels and There’s Something About Mary, has taken on the role of artistic director at Pour La Victoire, a contemporary footwear and accessories brand. In addition, Diaz has also bought a stake in PLV Studio. Talk about diving in head first!
“I don’t do endorsements really. This is completely different,” Cameron told WWD. “Being influential in a brand and in its campaigns interests me. I love fashion, it’s a large part of my life. What I wear is looked at – it influences what other people wear because that’s just the world we live in.”

Cameron’s first collection is expected to debut in spring 2014, reports WWD. But fortunately, we can experience a taste of her style a bit sooner, as PLV’s Christmas campaign will feature ‘Cameron’s Picks’ – a handpicked selection of her must-have pieces.
We’re not entirely sure what to expect with Cameron’s collection, as she has rather an eclectic taste in her own clothing – opting for sleek and slinky (a la the Stella McCartney jumpsuit above) one moment and frou-frou the next.
