Well photographic superstar duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott have certainly been busy this year! Not only have they shot the now infamous images for Lady Gaga’s SS14 campaign for Versace, but now they have thrown enduring model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne into the mix. The pair shot Miss Delevingne for La Perla’s own SS14 campaign under the artistic direction of Fabien Baron.
Cara tweeted a picture of herself behind the scenes whilst shooting the brand new campaign for La Perla.
Cara is joined by Liu Wen, the most successful Chinese model to date, and world renowned Polish model and actress Malgosia Bela in the campaign. La Perla wanted to blend the qualities of each very different woman into the campaign in order to showcase the various facets of the beloved lingerie brand. It was the ‘charismatic, knowing, adult femininity of Malgosia Bela, the perfect ‘zen’ elegance of Liu Wen, […] and the youthful rebellious magnetism of Cara Delevingne’ that convinced La Perla that these were the models that would take the new range into spring and summer.
We can’t wait to take a closer look at what promises to be both a beautiful campaign and a to-die-for SS14 collection.
