It seems no one hosts a fashion week party quite like Carine Roitfeld. According to WWD, Kate Moss was rocking, and undoubtedly shimmering in that sheer diamante-strewn Saint Laurent jumpsuit, on the dance floor, whilst Ricardo Tisci, Karl Lagerfeld and Jessica Chastain got into the swing of things at Paris’ Shangri-La Hotel, all to celebrate the second issue of Carine’s CR Fashion Book magazine.
The dance themed issue party saw the lead dancer at the Paris Opera, Marie-Agnès Gillot perform a pas de deux with Vincent Chaillet whilst model of the moment, Karlie Kloss sporting her gorgeous cropped hair, shared that she “studied ballet every single day after school when growing up, but then grew too tall and realised that a professional ballet career was not in my future, and I used my height for other things.”
Kloss wasn’t the only fashion-maven to reveal a love of dance. Tisci talked about his love of salsa, whilst Lagerfeld favours the more dramatic tango, although according to the site, he refused to dance in front of photographers (and whilst we don’t entirely blame him we would have killed to see those shots!) and the preternaturally beautiful Chastain offered up the Jitterbug as her boogie-of-choice.
