After the earlier speculation it seems the superstar fashion editrix really is launching her own fragrance having trademarked the name “Forgive Me” across not just a scent but a whole range of beauty products! Apparently Roitfeld took out the trademark way back at the start of 2012, so what we want to know is who is Carine asking for forgiveness – and what does the desire for absolution smell like?
It seems we may soon find out!

Rumour has it that, not content with running her own fashion bible, taking on the newly appointed position of Global Fashion Director of Harper’s Bazaar or being one of fashion’s most influential taste makers as an editor, brand consultant and all around style icon, Carine Roitfeld is now rumoured to be on her way to creating her very own fragrance.
There are few details so far, with no information as to who Carine will be working with to create the scent, nor any direction as to what she may include in the notes. However, we love to speculate, which means we’re currently conjuring up images of something dark, smoky, sexy and subtly provocative that works against the backdrop of an evening a Paris.
