It doesn’t take much knowledge of sports to know that the 2013 Wimbledon Tennis Championship isn’t an event to be missed. Even off-the-court, celebrities such as Grace Jones and Jesse Metcalfe couldn’t bare to miss the festivities.
The event started off on top at the Roof Gardens in Kensington – where the WTA Pre-Wimbledon Party was held. In the midst of all the excitement, Naomi Campbell, Erin O’Connor and Downtown Abbey stars Michelle Dockery and Laura Carmichael were spotted in the stands on day one.
While the tennis players were serving on the court, soon-to-be aunt Pippa Middleton was serving as a replacement for her sister in the royal box, alongside brother James. The royal duo used this time to relax and enjoy Monday’s match between Roger Federer and Victor Hanescu.
