If you didn’t make it to Chelsea Flower Show, and your mind is actually more angled towards the smells of an Eau de Toilette or Parfum rather than a garden in bloom, then Chanel’s latest addition to their counter at Selfridges in London may be just the thing for you.
The counter is being transformed into a butterfly garden. Yes you read that correctly. There’s a swing, there are trees, there are pink, peach and pale green butterfly leaves. It’s a pretty little haven of Chanel inspired beauty.

This little oasis also hosts complimentary makeovers using products from Chanel’s summer beauty collection. There are three looks to choose from – the Garden Party, the Beauty Party and of course the Festival look. IPads will be dotted around the counter for you to cast your eye over each look, to either help you decide what to go for yourself, or inspire your own beauty creations at home.
The pastel shades of the garden are centred around the Chanel Chance range. We’re already won over by the fragrance and its varieties, and other desirable additions to the collection include the Shimmering Powdered Perfume. Look out for it coming under our Beauty Spotlight soon!
The Chanel Butterfly Garden is open from now until the 18th June. Make sure you schedule in a visit! It’s not everyday you can seek sanctuary in a secret garden mid-shopping trip after all.
