After the cabaret-style ‘Shade Parade’ that was Chanel’s autumn winter m-animation showcase, Peter Philips has returned to the medium of film to exhibit his latest nail polish collection.
Directed by London film maker Ruth Hogben, who is best known for her work with Gareth Pugh and Louis Vuitton, Saskia De Brauw is filmed expressing some of Coco Chanel’s most famous quotes, in sign language. The Dutch model, whilst wearing a wardrobe of covetable new-season Chanel, inconspicuously flashes her fingertips, lovingly lacquered by Marian Newman, to perfectly showcase this season’s Chanel nail shades.
