Fashion Month has officially come to a close, ending in Paris on Tuesday. Chanel, Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton lit up the city on the final day of Paris Fashion Week and it was nothing short of spectacular.
Chanel kicked off the morning at the Grand Palais. Karl Lagerfeld is known for his extreme visions and amazing themes; think Chanel-clad models dressed in robot costumes. His latest venture for Paris Fashion Week was literally out of this world, as the theme was Space, down to the very last detail, including a life-size spaceship in the middle of the runway. A giant sign above the runway read “Centre de Lancement No.5” as models strutted across the U-shaped runway with hugely blown-out hair, slicked back with bejeweled headbands. The looks consisted of a galactic-twist on the classic tweed Chanel style, including glitter-covered boots, and foil-esque coats. Lagerfeld walked the runway at the end of his show with his godson Hudson, who’s no stranger to the brand.
Miu Miu showed at Palis d’Iéna and took on a more colorful look than Chanel. Faux furs and oversized hats paired with bold patterns were reminiscent of the 70’s. Louis Vuitton at the Louvre didn’t fail to disappoint either, showing metallic paneled leather jackets and bringing a new meaning to the slip dress, with lace insets. Léa Seydoux and Jaden Smith were among the front row A-listers.
