Earlier this year we expressed our excitement as Chanel’s fashion photography exhibition, The Little Black Jacket – an ode to one of the most iconic and covetable pieces in fashion, opened in Tokyo. And now, after a tour that has taken in Tokyo, Taipei, Hong Kong and New York, the showcase, based on the book curated by Karl Lagerfeld and ex-French Vogue editrix Carine Roitfeld, is heading to London, and set to open this October at the Saatchi Gallery.

A statement from Chanel says, “The special event underlines the brand’s values of creativity, modernity and excellence. The public will discover the versatility and timelessness of the iconic Chanel jacket through Karl Lagerfeld’s photographs.”
The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s Classic Revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld, will run from October 12 – 29 at The Saatchi Gallery, after which the book will be available to purchase.
