As the additional shades are added to the Rouge Allure Lipstick line, Chanel have released yet another darling video. Shot by Solve Sundsbo as a tribute to Erwin Blumenfeld, the legendary Dadaist fashion photographer famed for his plethora of Vogue cover shots and collaging techniques, and featuring model Barbara Palvin, the one minute shoot recreates Blumenfelds’ January 1950 Vogue cover.
Captivating, truly beautiful but also somewhat confusing. Supposedly imparting the advice ‘ If you are sad, if you are heartbroken, make yourself up, dress up, add more lipstick, and attack. Men hate women who weep.”
