A year’s a long time to wait but we’ll be keeping our eyes on the bookshop shelves in 2015. It has been rather candidly revealed that brunette supermodel sensation Cindy Crawford will be launching her book the autumn after next published by Rizzoli.
We know what you’re thinking. A standard pre-Christmas coffee-table picture book release. I mean we’d buy it any way for sure. We’d happily spend lazy sofa sessions musing over her incredible modelling shots. But Cindy says that we can expect something more. She elaborated ‘It’s not just a coffee-table book with images, although that will be part of it. It’s not a biography. It’s sort of a hybrid book. It’ll come out in the fall before I turn 50, so it’s kind of a way to celebrate turning 50 as opposed to dreading it’.
Yes that’s right. In 2015 Cindy Crawford shall turn 50. Excuse us whilst we pick our jaws up from the floor. Wow. We need some of what she’s using. Oh and since you ask, it’s most likely her very own skincare line, Meaningful Beauty.
And she’s darned down to earth about her timeless looks. ‘Beauty changes as I get older’, she says. ‘I’ve always found that beauty and confidence are synonymous. If you feel confident, that’s what people see. I always tell people to fake it until they make it’.
We’ll go with that.
