From the man who bought us Bridesmaids and Superbad and written by Amy Schumer herself inspired by her own life experiences – how did the story come about? We know comedian Amy bases a lot of her comedy on her own experiences, so how much of Trainwreck was actually taken from the truth?
Synopsis: Having being bought up by her rascal of a father on the belief that monogamy isn’t realistic – now, as a grown woman with a great career, Amy (Schumer) lives by that credo. Enjoying what she feels is a free-spirited life, free from boring romantic commitment, she finds herself in a little bit of a rut. Never having relationships that last more than one night; things start to change when she meets charming sports doctor Aaron (Bill Hader). After meeting him, who seems to really like her, she falls for him too and Amy starts to wonder if monogamy might not be a bad thing after all…
