Variations of beads, tassels, feathers and lace, all in muted tones encompass the fashion must-haves at this year’s Coachella. Don’t get overwhelmed by trying to search the “Coachella” tag through Instagram, we’ve done the hard work for you and put together the most popular looks of the weekend.
Social media was flooded with creative outfits from celebrities who attended, with Kendall Jenner rocking a nude frock and an elaborate beaded necklace with glitter roots in her hair; while fellow model Martha Hunt and singer Taylor Swift showed off chic chokers as Taylor captioned “maybe chokers are the new flower crowns?”. You might not recognise Taylor on first glance though; as she has recently gone platinum blonde. And we like it.
More than just music, Coachella is an opportunity for the most popular fashion models to flaunt their style. While flower patterned ensembles seemed to not dominate as much this year; sunglasses, beachy waves, rainbow hair and braids were everywhere.
More seasoned celebrities like Reese Witherspoon and Lana Del Rey preferred to keep it low-key by the pool, with Lana disguising herself and teasing fans “Catch me if you can.”
