Heart List of the Week
Wish lists are over. It’s all about the heart list now. It’s certain things that may be superficial and probably not required but gets our heart rate up once we clock it. I literally can’t breathe when that happens to me!
The official time has come for confident men to wear heels, without it being too girly or “cross-dresser”-ish.
The famous Ukraine boy-band Kazaky are wearing high heels made for women but they can get away with it due to their sculpted perfect bodies and cool-ness, even Madonna thought so when she featured them in her Girls Gone Wild video, but for everyday hotties that look is abit extreme until….

Christian Louboutin who is doing it for the men now.
I must have had a near death experience when my eyes fell on the crosta leather “Aoussam”, closely followed by “Aoussam Spikes” 80mm high boots by Christian Louboutin.
If a guy has HHE syndrome, that’s women’s high heel envy syndrome, I do not as I am majorly butch & masculine, (really…I am), and then Aoussam is the way to go.
Am I The Only One??
Ok this is the interaction bit of my segment. I come up with things either I or my huge circle of social butterflies does to make singlehood life interesting or just so far away from reality that the world of fiction seems like the place to be, to achieve perfection.
I am one of those people who cannot go to M&S or Waitrose Food Hall and carry the single’s basket & shop meals for one, but for 2. I go to the fabulous world of fiction where I start buying the healthy meals for my hunky, rugby playing boyfriend. It’s just a way to make my single-ness fun and cope with the annoying couples who shop around in the aisles. I obviously take it a step further, and switch my right hand “me” diamond rings to the left hand “we” fingers!
But every time I do this, I ask myself “Am I the Only One?”
Ok the interaction bit is….U need to send your “Am I the Only One” doing this moment/act. So I can judge you too!
Yum, yum yum
Skip it or read on if you are genetically challenged like me. I’m allergic to whey protein which is abit annoying post workout. But the solution to that is:
½ a carton of “two Chicks” free range Egg Whites, stocked at Waitrose (how lazy do we have to be?!) with Full fat Milk &/or one of my recent favourite discoveries: Naked’s Green Machine Antioxidant Smoothie.
It has the right balance of fruits with the healthy dosage of spirulina, broccoli etc. It tastes divine, is healthy and recommended by most personal trainers who feel it’s not about the generic supplements but a healthy, fit body that can be achieved by consuming natural ingredients.
It’s clear that if we want a fit, healthy body we have to sieve out the unhealthy. But sometimes on cheat days it’s ok to eat what we want without feeling guilty.
Popcorn is a favourite snack but the unhealthy variety isn’t. M&S Salty Caramel Gourmet Popcorn is a definite must try for that guilty pleasure without feeling we have really cheated!
Have a great weekend everyone!
