We’re getting more into the Christmas spirit here at the Beauty and the Dirt offices each day now that there’s not long left until December. We’re lucky because we’re based so close to Oxford Circus and have the privilege of enjoying the Christmas lights, which by the way were switched on this Sunday 6th November.
This year, the lights were switched on by Grammy-nominated British artist, Craig David who shared the stage with: Nathan Sykes, The Vamps and Louisa Johnson. David commented: “It’s a great honour to be switching on the lights and lighting up Oxford Street. I hope everyone has a great Christmas and an incredible 2017.”
Reportedly 1 million families came to the West End yesterday to see the iconic lights being switched on.
