I was very excited to receive my Cura Oil, it came in a duck egg blue box and promised that it’s clinically proven to reduce wrinkles and help with psoriasis and all completely natural.
It is a blend of eight oils including camellia, argan, red mandarin, bergamot, sunflower, geranium and vitamin E. It is particularly designed for sensitive, damaged skin. One might imagine it might smell vaguely floral but in fact it smells of newness, of fresh cloves wrapped in tissue paper from a high end department store. It feels luxurious and light as it goes on, so for this reason alone, I was pretty keen on it.
I am not sure if it helped plump out skin and get rid of wrinkles but I was keen to see if it would help my psoriasis and dry patches due to its natural anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.
It felt good and replenishing when it went on and in clinical trials it had a 78% success rate with psoriasis and 90% with wrinkles and 67% with acne. I maybe one of the 22% for whom psoriasis was not cured, but in its favour it did help and stress goes straight to my skin, so maybe I was an unfair tester. It definitely has a luxury product feel about it without the luxury product price.
A friend of mine used it on her hair as a leave in conditioner which was an inspiration. Her hair, which was broken and heat damaged is now shiny and glossy, so it’s well worth a try.
