Daft Punk gave eager fans a short preview of another one of their songs from their upcoming album ‘Random Access Memories.’ The preview comes at the end of an advert that shows Daft Punk opening and playing their new album. The preview is fifteen seconds from their song, ‘Give Life Back to Music.”
This is the second song to be previewed from their new album. ‘Get Lucky’ featuring Pharrell was previewed at week one of the California based music festival, Coachella. ‘Get Lucky’ currently holds the number one spot in the UK Singles Charts, giving us a pretty good idea that the rest of the album is bound to feature one huge hit after another. The album features other acclaimed artists such as Julian Casablanca and Giorgio Moroder.
Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk spoke about the inspiration behind the sound of their new album saying, “We were drawing a parallel between the brain and the hard drive – the random way that memories are stored.”
The tracklist for ‘Random Access Memories’ is as follows:
Give Life Back to Music
The Game of Love
Giorgio By Moroder
