Today the BRIT Awards revealed that the ‘blank canvas’ Award statue for this year has been designed by Damien Hirst.
The third British creative to be asked to create the iconically-shaped BRITs trophy, Hirst has said, “I am honoured to be asked to design this year’s statue, it has become such an iconic award, I love the BRITs”.
His spotted trophy sits alongside those by fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood and pop artist Sir Peter Blake.
