Whether it’s posing in the middle of the Mediterranean sea for Dolce & Gabbana or generously imparting his various fitness tips on YouTube, there is very little that David Gandy can do wrong. The Essex grown super model, plucked from obscurity by This Morning has, very easily it seems, taken the world by storm. And not just the female half of it. His elite physical condition, down-to-earth attitude and natural grit make him the envy of a great deal of men out there. As does his affiliation with Jaguar.
This week David Gandy launched a two minute online film: ‘David Gandy: Escapism’ which takes us on a road trip with David as he drives a collection of the most iconic Jaguar sports cars throughout history as well as the new F-TYPE convertible, the launch of which the new film celebrates.
Earlier in the year David was part of the Jaguar Heritage Racing team at the Mille Miglia, a one thousand mile celebration of a vintage car race held in Italy. He partnered with fashion icon Yasmil Le Bon in a classic Jaguar XK120 and described it as ‘one of the greatest adventures of [his] life’. A vintage car race driving next to a supermodel? Surely not David.
