20 years after the start of the show, the Dawson’s Creek cast has reunited to look back on the show for the first time since the 2003 finale.
The cast — Katie Holmes (Joey Potter), James Van Der Beek (Dawson Leery), Joshua Jackson (Pacey Witter), Michelle Williams (Jen Lindley), Busy Phillips (Audrey Liddell), Kerr Smith (Jack McPhee), Meredith Monroe (Andie McPhee), and Mary Beth Peil (Evelyn “Grams” Ryan)– got together for an Entertainment Weekly interview and People TV video. The cast shot the show in Wilmington, North Carolina, which allowed them to grow closer than they would have if the show had been shot in New York or California. You can see how special that bond is to all of them.
The show was a bold coming of age story full of romance, heartbreak, and love triangles, but it featured stories of more controversial ideas to the time like student-teacher romances too. Dawson’s Creek was on from 1998 until 2003, and it amassed quite the following throughout its five-year run.
If seeing your favorite castmembers makes you want to head back to Capeside, all 5 seasons are available to stream on Hulu.
