The beauty from yesterday’s Paris Couture show covered a whole range of looks, we were in makeup heaven!
We were fascinated by the diversity of the backstage action; so we went up-close to see the details from the shows…
MAISON MARGIELA
If Margeila wasn’t edgy enough already, the makeup from the couture collection bought a whole new meaning to ‘displaced’. With lips placed on the cheek, forehead and necks – surrealism was bought to life. Models came out onto the catwalk with wild David Bowie-esque inspired punk rock vibes. We’re not sure if mullets are due to come back in; but we’re loving the nude eyes bold lip look.
ELIE SAAB
Elie Saab opted for a dainty, soft undone look with hair perfectly parted down the middle, flowing into effortless loose waves.
JEAN PAUL GAULTIER
Jean Paul Gaultier went for a razor-sharp punk look, with bold eyes, lips AND hair. You could slice bread with those brows! We’re sensing more Bowie vibes here too..
VALENTINO
Valentino’s show featured sun-blush hues against fresh, dewy skin. We love the gorgeous snake head pieces adding movement to their simple, elegant look.
