It’s official! The Devil Wears Prada is headed for Broadway. A partnership with 20th Century Fox will see renowned Broadway producer Kevin McCollum (who has hit shows such as Rent and Avenue Q already under his belt) bring not only The Devil Wears Prada but also Mrs Doubtfire to the musical stage.
Can we expect some of the original movie cast belting out a few numbers? Don’t forget they’ve done it before. Meryl Streep’s danced her way across a Greek island in Mama Mia and who could forget Anne Hathaway’s heartfelt ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ in Les Miserables? Though they might be tied into joining forces again for a The Devil Wears Prada sequel, if movie bosses decide to pick up on Lauren Weisberger’s latest novel Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns. We’ll keep our fingers crossed!
