Featuring antique warm hues alongside vivid accents of colour just livens this time of the year up. Once the summer subsides it’s a perfect palette to brighten the mood with their daring notes of mauve, blue and pastel-grey pink to add real depth to your look.
As always – their stunning packaging is certainly luxurious and embodies everything about the glamorous style of makeup that D&G represent. We got to have a play with some of these gorgeous colours from the D&G collection here at BATD, and I created a simple look using three colours that caught my eye.
For this I used the Antique Rose Perfect Mono Eye Cream (£25) blended out softly all over the eyes. This is the perfect base if you wanted a stronger/evening look on the eyes. It is soft, velvety, creamy, blends beautifully and to top it off – it’s long-lasting and anti-creasing. This one is a matte finish, and buildable in density and colour. For an added touch, press in some of the golden eyeshadow from the Fall Harvest Eyeshadow Quad (£42) in the inner corner of both of your eyes.
The Classic Cream Lipstick in Antique Rose (£25.50) is such an easy colour to wear. It is slightly cooler pink which sets it aside from the norm, which I liked. The texture is creamy and soft, delivering a great amount of coverage with a sheen of light gloss effect.
The Intense Colour Gloss (£23.50) from this collection really is intense! It delivers a dollop of high-shine strong pigment to your lips, making it suitable alone or smothered on top of an exisiting colour for a dramatic variation of colour. It glides on smoothly and effortlessly.
