Dolce & Gabanna’s first couture line has finally been revealed and the beautiful collection has exceeded our expectations. Earlier this week, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabanna unveiled the glorious 73-look collection at an intimate, invitation only salon presentation in Dolce’s birthplace of Sicily.
Held in the cloisters of a former monastery, the show was a closely-guarded secret and attended only by select press and multimillionaire clients that the line is intended for. Tweeting about the show and photo taking were strictly forbidden to ensure the dresses were protected.
The clothing line was produced in their new couture atelier in Milan and it was everything you would expect from a Dolce & Gabanna couture line: gorgeous Sicilian lace, delicate embellishments, bows, jewels, florals – every piece more delicate and intricate than anything they have done before – the collection is flawless.
