Who’s raunchy, sexy, fun and can be described as the deranged lovechild of Beyonce and Alice Cooper? Allow us to introduce you to Christeene. This out-of-the-box artist describes herself as a “drag terrorist,” and delivers a volatile mix of sexuality, shamelessness and stage presence at each of her cabaret performances. Christeene has performed at SXSW in Austin, Texas and various venues across the globe including cities like New York, San Francisco, Berlin and London. Get a taste of what Christeene is serving up in the video below, but be wary – it’s definitely NSFW. I went to see her on Friday night at The Soho Theatre in London and was instantly drawn into the sheer energy and charisma projected from the stage. Yes it’s rude and very naughty, but what a brilliant show, I can’t wait for my second dose up at The Fringe. The audience was mostly made up up superfans who had been the night before and couldn’t keep away, I really get it and I am not so secretly one too.
