I was very excited to try my Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Dry Skin, Luscious Lips & Glossy Bits. I’ve heard raving reviews and as it’s an award winning product, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, after all it’s just a small tube of lip balm.
Though this is true, I’ve found a good few uses for it since I started with it. Of course, there’s the obvious use – using it for lips. It’s very hydrating and great for chapped lips. It’s super glossy so I’ve been using as a lip gloss; on it’s own, or over a lipstick. I love this for summer, it makes my lips look juicy and I really like that.

I’ve also incorporated this into other parts of my makeup routine. When using a powder highlighter, I like to dab on a tiny bit of Dr. Lipp over the areas I would highlight. Then with a fluffy makeup brush, I’ll use the powder on top – my fave since last summer has been the Topshop highlighter in Horizon, it’s a fabulous bronze and at £12, it wont break the bank.
I’ve also been using this as an eyeshadow base – dabbing a little bit over my lids before applying eyeshadow, but not too much otherwise it all gathers in the crease. I’ve been doing the same with the inner corner of my eye, where I like to add a bit of highlight to make my eyes pop.
