Ed Sheeran is currently one of the most successful musicians in the world. So we weren’t surprised to hear that he is now presenting his new concert film debut, Jumpers for Goalposts.
For any of his many fans who wasn’t at one of his biggest shows at Wembley Stadium back in July; he’s bringing his music back, via concert video. And we are very excited about this one. Ed’s record-breaking concerts that formed part of his ‘x’ world tour will be presented on film in Jumpers for Goalposts at cinemas worldwide from Thursday 22nd October.
To really start this one off with a bang, there is a special premiere (which will be beamed via satellite live from London’s Leicester Square to thousands of cinema screens around the world) including red carpet highlights, and an exclusive live performance from Ed himself. Fans can be part of the experience at simultaneous screenings across the UK; and tickets will begin to go on sale from Thursday 24th September at EdSheeranMovie.com. Jumpers for Goalposts brings together performances from the biggest shows of his career at Wembley Stadium, with a huge crowd of 8o,000 fans. You will see his biggest hits to date, including “The A Team”, “Sing” and “Thinking Out Loud” – and there’s even a surprise duet from Sir Elton John.
As well as breattaking performances, Jumpers for Goalposts also tells Ed’s story of his journey to Wembley, revealing a personal glimpse into life backstage, and on the road. Celebrating his success and achievements, the movie is true reflection of Ed with those closest to him; reflecting just how far he has come.
