I can be pretty obsessive about socks. I have ones that are so important to me that I wash them by hand for fear of the machine eating them. I cant bear the stress of wondering if they will come out still a pair.
I take them out of the laundry basket when the cleaner is coming so they will never get the chance to disappear.
There are certain times when I like a certain cushiony, puffy sock, I think this would be restricted to fast walks or working out.
The rest of the time I like thin socks made of silk or delicate slim cotton because I like to feel my shoes and I hate feet that sweat.

I like the idea that in high-heeled boots or shoes you can still feel the ground in a thin sock it is very important.
There is a current trend of socks in heels which is a little out there for me but I understand it.
My favourite socks are called Lazaro. Thin, smooth, silky and comforting with a slight rib.
