Elizabeth Arden‘s Eight Hour family is pretty iconic, the multi-tasking balm is best known for its luxurious and conditioning benefits to the skin, and has become a bit of a cult classic. Most make-up artists and beauty editors have a well used tube close by!
Loyal fans out there will be very pleased to know that there is a brand new addition to the family; as Elizabeth Arden have introduced a new formulation, the Eight Hour Cream All-Over Miracle Oil.
Created to deliver head-to-toe conditioning benefits, the oil can be used on the face, body and hair. So don’t be shy; anywhere you need a little looking after, spritz away. This hard-working beauty essential may just become the best part of your skincare regime.
It has a potent blend of the best moisturising ingredients; including botanical oils and vitamins to benefit the skin, locking in moisture for super smooth, and long lasting effects. Tsubaki Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Vitamin E, Olive, and Sunflower Seed Oils are all packed into this little bottle – just to name a few. The Eight Hour Oil contains a high concentration of Omegas 6 and 9 to help nourish, soothe and protect the skin too. And in addition, it claims to help boost skin’s natural collagen to smooth and improve your skin’s overall texture.
The delicately citrus-scented oil is surprisingly very lightweight, it soaks into the skin fast and just leaves you skin looking gorgeous and feels super nourished.
For the face: I love a face oil and this feels perfect for an overnight hydration treatment, it is non- comedogenic and will not clog pores. Massage on to cleansed skin and leave on overnight to wake up with plumped up, healthy skin.
For the body: I like to use this oil post shower while skin is still slightly damp, it is clinically proven to deeply hydrate and lock in skin’s moisture for 8-12 hours. My skin loves this and has a lovely glow after using it.
For the hair: Can be used on damp or dry hair, to promote a glossy shine and smooth flyaway’s without leaving behind a greasy residue. I have fine hair, so only use this on my ends, if you have thick hair I think would be great for all over.
My only complaint is I want the bottle to be bigger, I want to use it all the time, it has become a firm favourite in my bathroom!
