I am a big fan of the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea scent. It has been around since 1999, and still going strong. I am a fan of quite sweet, darker fragrances perfume-wise but this one is my exception just because it is so irresistible. It doesn’t have that ‘perfume’ smell – it is truly like sniffing a herbal tea, it is more natural and organic in scent. It is a cool, crisp fragrance with hints of lemon and mint, and a wonderful addition to coming out of a hot bath and smothering your body with.
When I heard that Elizabeth Arden was releasing a twist of the classic scent that I adore, I had to give it a go. Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Nectarine Blossom is a pleasant and juicy version adding in sweet nectarines that just oozes summertime. It is especially refreshing with top notes of uplifting nectars of peach and apricot, with juicy nectarine over a bright floral bouquet.
Coming into the spotlight is the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Nectarine Blossom Body Cream. I came across my first pot of Elizabeth Arden cream in a funny way; it was a gift from my lovely mum, so for a long time I saved it for a special occasion. It came with me when I moved home and took pride place in my new bathroom. It only came down to using it did I discover that this tub wasn’t in fact a body scrub like I thought – but a body cream! The little speckles threw me off – and oh my, I was delighted with this new and exciting discovery.
When you rub this delicious cream in, the little golden balls burst and dissolve into your skin. It is completely brilliant. There’s definitely something so satisfying about those little golden ‘pops’ the skin… maybe it’s just me.
The body cream is a super moisturising and completely refreshing product. It is infused with a blend of real honey and fragrant green tea extract to help calm and condition dry skin. This cream doesn’t feel like ordinary body cream – it sinks in, not enough to just disappear, but to leave a velvety soft, well-moisturised, non sticky feel. I actually can’t stop feeling my skin after I put it on; highly recommended to put on in the evening after a relaxing bath. The scent stays on the skin and lightly on your clothes too, which I love (after an evening bath sesh my pj’s still smell great the next day) and it is a nice big pot too. So good.
