Elizabeth Arden has teamed up with Reese Witherspoon to release a limited edition March On Lipstick in their traditional shade of Red Door Red. The shade ties in with both the history of the Women’s movement and the Elizabeth Arden brand since Elizabeth herself handed out tubes of red lipstick to suffragettes marching on New York City’s Fifth Avenue in 1912.
100% of the proceeds from this lipstick will be donated to UN Women which is dedicated to gender equality and women’s empowerment, and the brand is also planning to give $1 million to bring attention to women’s issues around the world.
Witherspoon describes the partnership saying, “By bringing UN Women, Elizabeth Arden, and women everywhere together we can help change women’s lives around the world for the better.” It is so important that women support each other everyday, not just International Women’s Day.
Wearing this lipstick is a great way to add a pop of colour to your typical look, and it embodies confidence and empowerment. What’s not to like?
The lipstick is available now for £22.
