It may have been years since Emma Watson donned a Hogwarts cape and cut her long Hermione-hair into an elfin crop, yet the actress continues to work at shedding her young Harry Potter image.
In her latest film, The Bling Ring, Emma plays kelptomaniac Nicki, one of a group of LA teens who track down where celebrities are via social networks in order to break into their mansions whilst they’re out, to party, raid their wardrobes and cause all manner of trouble.
The Sophia Coppola-directed film (in theaters 14 June) is inspired be actual events based on the actions of fame-obsessed teens and features a gyrating, thieving wild-child Watson. The provocative role is a far cry from her previous roles, and her angelic role as face of Lancome.
