Luxury UK tea emporium, Tea Palaceand boutique Marylebone hotel No. Ten Manchester Street have teamed up to create a festive afternoon tea.
As you might expect, the winter themed treats on offer have been inspired and incorporate tea as an ingredient itself. Executive Chef Cristian Gaimarri has put the Tea Palace’s festive blends to delicious use in the sweet delicacies on offer, which include Panna Cotta infused with Winter Apple Tea, mini Panettones infused with Spiced Pear Tea and mini Christmas Sprice Tea mince pies. The Christmas Blend infused scones are also ones not to miss. As with the delightful etiquette of afternoon tea that we are all so fond of, these festive fancies are accompanied by a selection of finger sandwiches as well as the Tea Palace’s exclusive blend of tea created especially for the hotel’s Dieci restaurant.
Can you think of anything more decadently festive than doing a spot of Christmas shopping on Marylebone High Street, huddled in your warmest winter coat, scarf or snood brimming over your collar to keep your ears and smile snuggly and warm, swishing your shopping bags in and out of the gorgeous array of shops, before stopping off at No Ten Manchester Street to warm your toes, sip on tea and indulge in the one of a kind Christmas treats on offer? No, nor can we.
The Tea Palace Winter Afternoon Tea costs £28 per person and is a fitting accompaniment to Christmas shopping on nearby Marylebone High Street and Oxford Street or a visit to Winter Wonderland, also within easy reach in Hyde Park from 22 November.
