ST. PATRICK’S DAY IN LONDON

You don’t have to be in Dublin to celebrate St. Patty’s Day with a bang. London definitely holds it’s own with St.Patrick’s Day celebrations from pub parties to parades with events for every type of person loving the green, white, and orange.

On Sunday, 13th March, Trafalgar Square will be lit up with the excitement as the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade will be held at 12pm filled with dancers, floats, and what’s sure to be lively entertainment.

Feeling crafty? Papier Maché crafting to make cute little leprechauns is available at Drink Shop Do on Thursday 17 March, where craft materials are free with a drink!

Looking for a bit of a boozier option? Hit up the traditional Irish taverns all through the week. The Sun Tavern is a great option, where the whole pub will be covered in green and has some great selling points such as free food, live Irish music, and one-of-a-kind cocktails themed for the celebration. Mr Fogg’s Tavern is also a great option if you want amazing music, a real life Irishman and cousin of the pub Seamus Fogg to be livening up the crowd, and of course Irish strew and specially crafted whiskey cocktails.

There’s plenty of ways to feel the luck of the Irish in London during St. Patrick’s Day week, so throw on your green ensembles and step out into the adventures!
