Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition
March 8, 2014

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, a showcase of the world’s best nature photography, is marking its 50th anniversary this year. Winning pictures appear in the major exhibition at the Natural History Museum that tours around the world throughout the year, and are also included on the competition’s website, BBC Wildlife Magazine, and other international publications. Since its inception in 1965, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition currently sees thousands of entries from more than 98 of the world’s countries.
The competition exhibition is one of the Natural History Museum’s most popular events, and last year it drew nearly 150,000 visitors. This year’s exhibition runs until the 23rd of March. For more information and to book tickets for the exhibit (which cost around £10.90), please visit the official website.
