Beyond the Lights is the story of young Noni (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) the music worlds latest superstar R&B singer. The pressures of fame have Noni struggling and puts her life on the edge – til she meets Kaz (Nate Parker), a young cop and aspiring politician, who quickly falls for Noni. They both fall fast and hard, and he helps Noni find the courage to develop her own voice and break free to become the artist she was truly meant to be.
Beyond the Lights tells the story of stardom and love – crammed with comedy, drama, music and romance.
This romantic drama is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (The Secret Life of Bees, Love and Basketball) and is on DVD and digital from Monday 29th June 2015.
