Fur of the friendly faux kind has seen a huge revival in recent seasons. I am famed for my love of the trend. My friends always know when summer has truly settled into Britain when I finally put my favourite faux fur collar to the back of the cupboard and bravely bare my neck in the outside world. It’s the clash of textures that really gets me. Team matte leather with a tawny flash of fur and you’re there. Michael Kors has the look down to perfection in their latest AW13 collections, and the Guess campaigns featuring tousled haired girls swathed in fur and crisp white shirts has proved a sensation.
Designers and the high street alike have stepped up to the trend and provided with an abundance of soft, beautifully crafted pieces. Here is our pick of the best.
