We’re always a fan of a fashion film, but there’s something fairly special about the upcoming documentary film from Tcheng (director of such films as Valentino: The Last Emperor and Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has To Travel) titled Dior & I. It follows Creative Director Raf Simons as he puts together his debut collection for the historic fashion house.
There looks set to be a very down to earth film to the compilation, with a heavy focus on the Dior team, in particular the seamstresses, and those most involved to the day-to-day process.
Tcheng filmed the Valentino documentary across two years, but for Dior & I he focused on only two months, so that every detail of the work behind a single collection for the brand was captured.
Dior & I will be released on the 27th March to selected cinemas across the UK. Visit www.diorandimovie.com for more information.
