Whilst men may have come and gone, there has always been one constant little flirtation waiting in the wings for Ri-Ri. Balmain. Remember the gold and purple wonder that graced the cover of ELLE with the songstress? Or the white twisted crop top and leather trouser combo that popped up at her Wetten Dass performance?
Well luckily for Rihanna, Balmain have done the designer equivalent of putting a ring on it. The lady rebel has been chosen to front the fashion house’s latest campaign. Shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and styled by Mel Ottenberg, the campaign images were shot in New York and feature a tousle-haired Rianna sitting against a minimalist chequered backdrop, swathed in Balmain’s latest clothing designs and weighed down by their chain-themed jewellery and accessories line.
We can’t wait to see more of the same!
