FAVOURITE FIVE: HAIR MASKS

May 15, 2015

Favourite Five: Hair Masks.
Favourite Five: Hair Masks.

We’re going to be devoting a little time to our hair this weekend. Whether it’s the cold wind and drying rain of these belated April showers we’ve been battling through, or the warmth and UV rays of those sunny spells that have been getting a little more frequent, our hair is suffering. It’s time to get nourishing. Here are some of our favourite hair masks to do the job.

Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment Pluse (£19.00) is a hair hero that everyone needs to know about. It’s consistency is more like a solid butter than a cream, but go with it, trust us. It intensely nourishes with Rouge Oleifera and will make a significant difference to dry and damaged hair after just one use. Top tip – pop hair in a pony tail, coat the pony tail in the mask and sleep with it on. Wash off in the morning, and style as normal for some real hair therapy. Just make sure to use a towel over your pillow as it’s quite oily in consistency.

John Frieda Beach Blonde Kelp Help Deep Conditioning Mask (£6.29) uses the marine powers of sea kelp and monoi oil to deliver serious TLC and protection to blonde and coloured hair.

Swell Ultimate Volume Masque (£28.00) is the mask you need to use if you’re after added body and lift. Often the more nourishing the mask, the more it will weigh down your hair, and that’s just something you have to go through sometimes, your hair will thank you for it in the long term. But if you’re more concerned with upping the volume then opt for this little wonder.

Dove Intensive Repair Self-Warming Hair Mask  (£3.49). Together the Regenerating Treatment Mask and Heat Activating Serum work to create a gentle heat for deep hair treatment, which help the Keratin Actives in the mask penetrate to restore proteins deep within the hair. Impressive? It’s so cosy to use on a rainy night in too.

TIGI Bedhead Urban Antidotes Re-Energize Mask (£14.95) gives hair an extra dose of shine and body if it’s looking a little lack-lustre. It doesn’t weigh hair down and smells phenomenal.
