Sunshine and warm weather means weekends full of festivals. While they’re fun and give you amazing memories, festivals can wear you out and leave you looking exactly how you feel. It’s easy to keep your amazing looks in tact with some of these, so keep these mini must-haves in your bag to flawlessly make it through festival season.
Batiste Mini Original Dry Shampoo: A quick and easy way to fix your hair at festivals – a Batiste mini – this mini bottle is easy to carry with you at all times so you can refresh your hair style throughout the festival.
Arm & Hammer Mini Total Pro Toothpaste: Throw this in your bag with a toothbrush to keep your teeth sparkling for the camera and leave your breath fresh. It also helps neutralise acidity in your mouth which is a big help when you’re eating an drinking all weekend long.
femFresh Freshening and Soothing Cloths: Great for freshening up your intimate areas because let’s be honest, festival showers are gross! Also we like to use these as face wipes – for us, their balanced pH makes them gentle enough to use all over.
Ultra Sun: is a trusted brand for us and even though these are a bit more pricey than your popular sunscreen brands, we’re always willing to spend a little more on skincare. These are travel sizes, so they wont weigh down your festival rucksack too much.
Blotting Papers: for a sweaty day in the sun, the worst thing I can think of is applying more makeup. For me, blotting the shine away is a much better solution. NYX do a number of different ones so you can have a browse online to choose the one that suits you.
HealGel intensive: a crazy weekend of drinking and dancing can take such a toll on our bodies and we can normally see this on our skin. HealGel do a rescue cream which is great for reviving skin. It is a little bit more expensive for a festival kit list but keeping skin in good condition is a top priority for us so well be slathering this on.
If HealGel is out of your budget you can go for a cheaper alternative. Try the Jojoba Company – an Australian skin brand which is 100% natural and vegan. It can be used all over including your face, body, cuticles, hair, hands and lips.
Festivals are always a time to glam up and fancies are an easy way to do this. Putting on a ton of makeup isn’t always the best option because we can’t really do our normal cleansing routine at festival, so false lashes are on easy alternative. Kiss lashes are super affordable and you can get a lot of use out of them, they’ve got a large collection and they stock in both Boots and Superdrug.
