Our friends at Psycle London have created a green smoothie recipe that will help you detox and stay on track this Christmas. We all tend to lose a little willpower and overindulge on Christmas treats despite our health and fitness goals. This smoothie is a great recipe for a Monday refresh after a weekend of partying a little too hard. The drink is packed full good stuff: balanced between fibre, carbohydrates, protein and essential fats. Detoxifying lemon and spirulina will help cleanse the system after sugary Christmas sweets and drinks.
Ingredients:
¼ avocado
1 stalk celery
1 inch fresh ginger
½ lemon
1 frozen banana
2 medjool dates
¼ cup soaked cashews
¼ tsp spirulina
200mls coconut water
Unsweetened milk of your choice- add to desired consistency
