Get ready for the best biographical drama of the year: Hitchcock. Filled to the brim with talent, the film stars Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Hitchcock, alongside some of the best ladies of the silver screen including Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, Toni Collette and Jessica Biel.
Based on Stephen Rebello’s non-fiction book Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho, the film was directed by award-winning screenwriter/director Sacha Gervasi. Hitchcock centers on the relationship between director Alfred Hitchcock and his wife Alma Reville during the making of Psycho, spanning from Wisconsin murderer Ed Gein, (the real-life inspiration for the character of Norman Bates) to the release of the groundbreaking film in 1960.
The film is due to be released in the US on 23 November and will reach UK cinemas on 8 February 2013.
