Warner Bros. Pictures are proud to present the UK trailer of iconic director, Woody Allen’s, new drama Blue Jasmine.
In hopes of picking up the pieces of her former life, delusional trophy wife, Jasmine (Cate Blanchett) moves int her sister Ginger’s (Sally Hawkins) shabby apartment in San Francisco after her life falls apart, including her marriage to Hal (Alec Baldwin), a wealthy New York businessman.
With a Xanax and vodka cocktail in tow, Jasmine is a social climbing snob who needs to be brought back to reality, a job pursued by her sister Ginger, her boyfriend (Bobby Cannavale), and her ex (Andrew Dice Clay).
With a commanding cast, Blue Jasmine is about the dire consequences that can result when people avert their eyes from reality and the truth they don’t want to see.
The film is set to hit the big screen in the UK on 27 September 2013.
