It’s an ongoing battle – the decision to fringe it or stay bare-foreheaded.
A new season is as good a time as any to switch up your hairstyle and as we wait for Spring to fully arrive, we thought we’d toss these fine fringe ideas around for some inspiration.

Surprisingly, it was Marion Cotillard giving in to the trend that has us holding off leaping into the world of bangs. Whilst the Rust & Bone actress can do no wrong in our eyes, we think she may have made a teeny, tiny forehead-covering error with this cut. It’s all a little too, well, messy. And reminds us, rather painfully, of an incident involving nail scissors as a teen that we’d rather not revisit.
For some far smoother, and more sharply-cut face framing we’re looking to Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, Jessica Biel, Duchess Kate and of course, Jessie J (pre-shave) for inspiration.

Or maybe go hide and seek, easy and piece-y as Reece Witherspoon and Alexa Chung do

Or for those who can’t quite make the full-leap look to Jessica Alba and Kate Middleton who have perfectly coiffed side swept sweeps.

For those of you with commitment issues there are fake fringe options out there. Kim K tested the look out with these in 2012 before making the big decision almost a year later. We know… it’s a life or death situation, so take your time!
