Later this Spring London will host the first ever global kids fashion week.
The event, organised by online childrenswear destination AlexandAlexa.com, will include two children’s catwalk shows; an AW13 trends preview for the media and a public showcase of SS13 looks featuring designs from Paul Smith Junior, Chloe, Little Marc Jacobs and Junior Gaultier to name just a few.
A range of brands will be showcasing, from luxury labels to premium casual brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel and Wildfox, to independent and emerging names such as Munster Kids and Rachel Riley.
As well as the shows, there will be kid-friendly performances and a mix of playful activities for both children and parents in collaboration with the V&A Museum of Childhood.
Global Kids Fashion Week will take place for two days between 19-20 March at The Freemason’s Hall, Holborn, London. Tickets for the public show priced from £25 with all tickets sales’ proceeds donated to Kids Company, available via Ticketmaster
