Last night the stage was set for one of 2012’s most anticipated car-crash moments – as the jilted Robert Pattinson sat beside Twilight co-star and ex Kristen Stewart for the first time since their split.
Rather than a red-carpet event, MTV thought it would be a good idea to invite the pair for interview to promote the last film in The Twilight Saga, the soon-to-be-launched Breaking Dawn Part II.
But with a strict no-talk-of-the-affair agreement, R-Patts and K-Stew played happy families as they talked, laughed and divulged info on how the films have affected them.
Whilst Robert was, as ever, witty, funny and sweetly self-deprecating and Kristen remained smiley and playful her body language told a whole other story. Dressed in a very casual striped cobalt and black jumper, denim jeans and pumps she messed with her hair, fidgeted with the sleeves of her jumper and continually tapped and shook her legs throughout the entire debacle.
Oh and did we forget to mention that co-star Taylor Lautner also joined the pair for the interview – although thanks to this summer’s scandal sadly he’s been pushed back into the shadows.
